Looking to Make a Difference?
If you are looking to make a true impact on your community, a home build is a great way to get your hands dirty.
All levels of expertise are welcome. All that is required are willing hearts, hands, and a positive attitude. You are sure to make new friends, enjoy some donuts or cookies, and perhaps learn a new skill. Most importantly, you will be building a home alongside new friends that will help change a family's future forever.
Home Build Days
You'll find Habitat Rabun volunteers at the build site on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Depending on the weather, the team builds during the spring, summer, and fall.
While volunteers who can work on a regular basis and/or have a specific skill, such as electrical, plumbing, painting, or finish work, are needed most, ALL volunteers are welcome and needed. There are people on the build site who can teach you the skills you need if you are willing to learn.
If you have a group of people who want to schedule another day to work, such as a Saturday, we can arrange a workday. If you have a specific skill, then we can arrange for you to work at your convenience. Please use the form below to inform us of your needs.
