Awesome Auction Items At Rhapsody: You Gotta Be There!

Updated: Aug 19, 2019

You probably already know about one of Rabun County’s most elegant and fun evenings, Rhapsody in Rabun, and how it raises money for one notable Rabun nonprofit each year. And, by now, you are even aware that the 2019 recipient is Habitat for Humanity® of Rabun County, which is building its 35th Rabun County home. But, did you know that on Saturday, August 10, along with excellent food, an open bar, and music, you have the chance to bid on some fantastic items?

The live auction begins this year at 7:30 p.m., allowing ample time for everyone to bid on the numerous gift certificates and silent auction items. Not only will you and your friends have the chance to pick up some incredible things at the live auction; it is also entertaining, as Bryan Snyder of K & B Auction, keeps the action moving along.

Here is a small sampling of some of Rhapsody’s live and silent auction items:

After the live auction has ended, there will be a drawing for a one week stay at the Poss’s St. Simons Island-North Breakers Condo. Tickets, $20 each, can still be bought online from the website: www.RhapsodyinRabun.com and the Habitat ReStore. You should buy yours early as we may sell out before August 10!

You don’t want to miss Rhapsody in Rabun on Saturday, August 10. Doors open at 5 p.m., as will be the open bar and yummy hors d’oeuvres. You can view and bid on the silent auction items downstairs--there is even a Buy-It-Now option!

For those attendees who need a little assistance in navigating levels or the walk from the parking lot to the Civic Center, have no fear! There will be golf carts to and from the Ballroom level to the Diner on the lower level. Rhapsody and Habitat want to make sure your evening is as comfortable as possible.

There will be many more items and gift certificates from merchants and restaurants. The Civic Center will be open on Sunday, August 11 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. for pickup of auction items or you can take them with you after the end of the auction.
